LGBTQ* What’s Your Sign? ASL - American Sign Language - Signs for LGBTQ* Words Lesbian - make a ”L” (same as the letter “L” in sign) rest it on your chin. Gay- using your thumb and pointer finger (creating the symbol for the letter “g” in ASL), touch the base of your chin.  —The letter “g” below. (note: tugging one’s earlobe can also be used as slang for gay) Bisexual - Make a “G” hand shape (like above) that starts at your chin, and brushes upwards towards the top of your head. Transgender - the ASL for transgender seems to shift from area to area, having its own slang/signs within the community. Many people finger spell FTM or MTF. I Love You - hand shape for the combined letters, ”I” “L” and ”Y”
